What are you doing to hire more US veterans?
And it is easy to say that you Support Our Troops (blah blah blah).
But do you really support the troops with more than words?
A new report shows that “for Post-9/11 era veterans, the October jobless rate is 10 percent. For men of the Iraq and Afghanistan generation, the employment rate was 9.6 percent in October. For women, the jobless rate was 11.6 percent.
As an American manufacturer or business- are you satisfied with 10 per cent unemployment for young veterans?
If not, what are you doing about it?
When was the last time you interviewed a veteran for a job position?
Are you actively searching out skilled veterans to fill jobs – or just waiting for one to show up on your doorstep?
Promote America is a 2-way street.
You want people to buy your American-made goods and services because it keeps jobs in America. That is great.
But are you helping to hire those who have fought to protect our country and keep it great?
You owe it to veterans to give them a fair chance to succeed in the private sector.
